A little more about Sea Salt:

The Salt of Life - Grey Celtic Sea Salt
You need salt to live. A healthy, active lifestyle demands sufficient salt intake. Human life is dependent on the presence of sodium. Sodium, in the form of sodium chloride, plays an important part in the primary processes of digestion and absorption. Salt activates the first enzyme in the mouth, salivary amylase. Sodium chloride is used to make hydrochloric acid, a secretion needed for digestion. Sodium functions best when combined with other minerals, such as magnesium, calcium and potassium, which are also in Celtic Sea Salt.

Hawaiian Red 'Alea' Sea Salt
The reddish tint seen in Hawaiian Red Sea Salt is 100% tasteless. It is actually the baked Hawaiian red clay (Alaea) mixed with the sea salt. This mix contains unprocessed sea salt rich in natural minerals, high in iron, and naturally iodized.

Sea Salt is used by most professional Chefs and Gourmets.  Sea Salt is by far a superior salt to regular salts. It distinguishes itself through taste and appearance to other salts.  As Martha says: "Remember to use only kosher salt in [your] recipes, as sea salt is prohibitively expensive and table salt simply won’t work."

Kelp
Kelp Granules Certified Organic is a convenient way to get your sea veggies. Kelp granules are "salty" yet low sodium, thanks to the rich complement of potassium, magnesium, and other mineral salts. Kelp granules are an especially rich source of Potassium, Iron, Iodine, Vitamin B-6, Riboflavin, and Dietary Fiber. Kelp also contains a natural substance, glutamic acid, that enhances flavor and tenderizes. Phytochemicals in Kelp have been shown to absorb and eliminate radioactive elements and heavy metal contaminants from our bodies. Sprinkle on soups, salads, tofu, pasta, stir-fries, dressings, dips, sauces, breads, tabouli, and  potatoes.
